So, How Can I Make Money Online?

The internet is such a beautiful thing, isn't it? Day after day, millions of people take advantage of it. In order to have more time for their small online businesses or for their income producing blogs, some of them choose to quit their job and totally dedicate themselves to this cause. What job can be more pleasant than maintaining a website which produces a constant income with just one, two or three hours of work per day? We'll now have a look over some different ways of making money using only a computer, an internet connection and great motivation.

1. Get paid for creating web pages.

The friendly good looking face of the Internet, which most users see, is especially made of websites. There are over 100 million webpages over there and a huge part of them are created by well paid webmasters. They get hired by companies or entrepreneurs that want to have a digital image which can be seen by anyone in the world. Webmasters have to register a domain name, find a good web host, create a good looking website and, if the contractor asks him, even drive traffic to it. Because not any average man has the required skills and knowledge for this kind of work, I am not going to insist on the technical aspects that this job implies.

2. Open an online shop.

Who hasn't heard of Amazon.com? As many of you probably know, Amazon is actually like a huge supermarket: you enter, put all the products you want in your shop cart and then pay for them. There are certainly many other online shops just like this one, and behind each and every single one of them there is a person or a group of people that make money by selling different products. This kind of business is obviously more time and money consuming, but the rewards can also be greater.

3. Get paid for clicks or e-mail reading.

Well, I personally have to admit that I have little to no faith in this kind of things, and not because they would not pay, but because I consider that if one man would invest half the time spent on clicking banners in writing some good content for their blog, the benefits would be much greater. If you do not want to take my advice and still want to get rich by reading e-mails, there are plenty of websites that offer that. Just Google it. How does this work? Different companies want to be more popular among Internet users and hire specialized websites to get them this traffic, in exchange of money, of course. As for them, these specialized websites pay regular people to click on links, read e-mails and so. They will still end up in profit, that is for sure.

4. Get paid to advertise on your website.

This is actually what we are going to talk about on this blog as the time goes by. You have certainly seen on websites or blogs the well known 'Ads by Google' box. When people click on the links in that box, the owner of the website gets paid. This is what advertising actually consists of. You can also rent space for links or banners on your website in exchange of money. If your blog has only 200 unique visitors a day, you cannot expect to get rich by renting space for banners. On the other side, if your website has like thousands of visitors a day, your monthly income from advertising will certainly increase.

Now that you know a little about different ways of making money online, I guess we can finally get started. As I have said, our primary goal is to get well paid for advertising on our website or blog, so this is what I will be trying to teach my readers to do.
